REAL DREAM TIPS TO
HELP SMOKERS QUIT (#33)

Here is last night’s DREAM TIP:
“I’m being questioned—while

on a table—
about where my

main awareness is—and
I want to say, ‘THINKING’…

But must concede,
it’s the ‘FEELING’…

This seems to disappoint
me—and I get up from

having just been
examined—with

concern that I haven’t
done any of the things

that I had hoped
I would have done.”

…Now… how would that be a
DREAM TIP TO HELP SMOKERS

QUIT? It doesn’t
come right out and

say anything about
STOPPING SMOKING, does it?

But let’s look at:
what it does say:

Doesn’t it express big
disappointment over

being stuck in
the FEELING part

alone—rather than in
the hard AWARENESS part?

Isn’t that WHERE
SMOKERS FOCUS—

in their youthful FEELING
and not their THINKING part,

which represents
maturity?

Yes, I know, YOU WANT TO
STOP SMOKING REAL BADLY—

if you’re part of
the seventy

or eighty percent of
all the active smokers…

But what the dream
is expressing

is the disappointment
that FEELING is not where

it has to start.
FEELING is fine,

but there has to be some
mature thought behind it.

We cannot do
any of the

things that we had hoped we
would have done– until we

begin THINKING
seriously–

and then eventually
that changes ATTITUDE,

which then makes our
FEELING cause us

to ACT…but plain FEELING
without the requisite

THINKING never
gets the job done.

So the dream is saying,
“Hey! WORK ON YOUR THINKING!”

‘Till tomorrow…
